The cabin
Shady Pines is the perfect escape to South Lake Tahoe. This 2 bedroom, 1 bath vacation cabin is surrounded by tall pines and located just south of the Lake. The cabin is spacious enough to house 5-6 guests; perfect for a small family or two couples. Don't forget to bring your furry four-legged companion, as we are pet friendly!
As you approach this Lake Tahoe vacation rental park up to two vehicles in the garage. The main level of the home invites you inside to an open floor plan. This common living space is made up of a living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room features comfortable seating circled around a large flat screen TV with an Apple TV and Sonos soundsystem. The sofa further assembles into a sofa sleeper for additional bedding. After a day spent outdoors, your guests will enjoy curling up here to catch a movie on the TV. A Sonos music system is installed for you to connect your devices. High speed mesh WiFi is also provided for your convenience.
Past the living room is a fully equipped kitchen. There is an ample amount of counter space and updated appliances to aid any chef. When your meals are hot and ready to be served, call everyone over to the dining table. The dining table has seating for six and encourages you to eat a home cooked meal and spend quality time with your loved ones.
Sunny days lure you outside to the bright and spacious front deck. Fire up the BBQ to grill a scrumptious snack. A patio dining table and plush outdoor sofa and chairs are arranged in front of the breathtaking mountain view. This space is ideal to lounge and stargaze from at night.
The back yard and patio has been sculpted with privacy retaining walls, creating a sectioned off outdoor room. This area offers privacy and serenity while you enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Tahoe. A 6-person hot tub is readily available and will be a popular relaxing place. Adirondack chairs encourage you to sit around the fire pit and roast s'mores. The string patio lights, which can be controlled with Alexa voice commands, create a cozy ambiance.
Off of the living room is a hallway leading to two bedrooms. The master bedroom is prepared with a Queen-sized bed, flat screen TV, and views of the front deck. The guest bedroom is similarly set up with a Queen-sized bed and views of the back patio and forest. These bedrooms have access to the shared full bathroom. This shared bathroom has a shower/tub combo and a washer/dryer.

The Property
Days will be spent hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding or at one of many nearby Lake Tahoe golf courses. Multiple hiking and biking trails are just a few minutes away.
Whether you decide to unwind at this cabin, take a day trip to the lake, or hike along the trails with your pet, Shady Pines will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to plan your next trip.

A skier and snowboarders paradise: 10 minutes to Heavenly, 20 minutes to Sierra at Tahoe, and 40 minutes to Kirkwood.
Two golf courses (Lake Tahoe Golf Course and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course) are right around the corner; Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course is just 18 minutes away.
Numerous hiking trails, bike paths and a plethora of outdoor recreation are nearby and many begin just steps from the front door.
